This policy explains what data the TideCast Garmin Connect IQ widget ("the app") collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. TideCast is published by Extreme Media (0-21.co.uk). Tide data is provided by the service at tide.extreme-media.co.uk, also operated by Extreme Media.
The short version: TideCast collects only what it needs to show you tide data and to run optional Plus subscriptions. We do not require an account, we do not collect your name or email in the app, we do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data.

TideCast does not collect your name, email address, contacts, messages, photos, or health/activity/fitness data. Location is used only to resolve a tide station; it is not used to track your movements.
TideCast Plus is an optional annual subscription. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own secure, hosted checkout page. We never see or store your card details.
To link a payment to your watch, the app shows a short pairing code, which is passed to Stripe so the subscription can be matched to your device. From a completed payment we receive and store: your device identifier, a Stripe customer and subscription reference, and your subscription status and expiry date. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Tide requests are logged for a short period for reliability and abuse prevention. Licence records (device identifier, Stripe references, status and expiry) are kept for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle renewals, refunds, and support.
Depending on where you live (including under UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, or to object to or restrict its processing. Because the app is keyed to an anonymous device identifier, please include that identifier (or your Stripe receipt) when you contact us so we can locate your records. TideCast is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
